Winter’s Ladies Day is back and one of our key dates to add to your calendar for the start of 2026. This year our notorious day returns on Saturday 24th January, with guests arriving in their most stylish outfits, it’s a day where glamour takes the highlight and fashion floods the course.
At the heart of the day is our Best Dressed competition, a time old tradition that shines a light on some standout race day fashion. To enter come along to our flower wall and simply get your photo taken. Our judges will then pick five finalists who will be invited into the Parade Ring where our winner will be announced!
Timeless Tweed
Tweed never goes out of style and is the perfect winter fabric. Tweed blends together timeless elegance and warmth; these earthy tones add sophistication and are perfect for the winter months. The ideal pairing for a jumps fixture.
Feathers are Fabulous
Be sure to make your outfit stand out by pairing it with a delightful fedora. Add a personal touch by incorporating feathers for a pop of colour and to create a polished finish. Be sure to take a peek at the beautiful fedoras on offer at Grace & Dotty.
Warm and Cosy
As January is cold, it’s all about making your outfit stylish whilst beating those cold temperatures, being comfortable and protected from the elements. You need to master layering, be sure to start with a long-sleeved base and pair it with a chunky knit. Why not finish your outfit with a tailored coat or sheepskin jacket? Be sure to elevate your outfit by adding a fur collar or opting for a stylish poncho over the top that will certainly brighten up any outfit, whilst keeping you cosy yet stylish. Be sure to re-love and reuse by bringing to life a previous piece or borrowing from a friend or rehoming a piece from a charity shop.
Country Chic
Country chic blends elegance with rustic charm, the ultimate look for a National Hunt fixture this winter. Use items you have at home to create your raceday look. Why not select a tweed blazer over a crisp blouse with a slim jean or skirt and tie the look off with a knee-high or chunky leather boot.
Finishing touches
No race day outfit is complete without the right accessories. From a statement hat and fascinator to elegant jewellery and handbags. Accessories are crucial to tying together your whole look. On Winter Ladies Day, many of our guests choose to wear hats, which isn’t obligatory but can add the instant wow factor! Why not check Grace & Dotty for the perfect hat to tie your whole outfit together. Be sure to take a peek at what they have on offer on the day or browse their website beforehand here.
